How is this different than my "Calming Carol" that also has Ashwagandha? Nervous Nellie is more of a foundational stress support herb. It helps the body stop living in constant stress mode and rebuild its ability to handle pressure. It helps to RETRAIN the stress response.
Whereas my "Calming Carol" tincture is something my clients take when they feel ACUTELY stressed (think in the moment panic attack!) Racing thoughts, Anxiety spikes, overwhelmed feeling, trouble falling asleep and nervous tension.
NERVOUS NELLIE - helps the body become less stressed over time.
CALMING CAROL - helps the body calm down when stress hits.
Many of my clients use BOTH. Nervous Nellie DAILY. Calming Carol when needed.
On to THYROID HELP! This is one of my client's favorite tincures if they've been told to get on thyroid meds and they'd rather not :)
Ashwagandha helps people with thyroid issues mainly by supporting the systems that control thyroid signaling, rather than forcing the thyroid itself. It works through stress regulation, hormone communication, and metabolic balance. Some research shows Ashwagandha may help support healthy levels of T4 and the conversion of T4 into the active hormone T3. When this conversion improves people often experience better metabolism, clearer thinking, and improved energy!
HOW TO USE: Adults: 30-60 drops (1-2 ML) under the tongue morning and evening. Consistency matters!
